I just took The Dog out for his morning walk, and there is about 1/2 an inch of ice on top of the foot or so of snow that is left over from Valentine's Day. The poor dog has had to content himself with walking along the shoveled pathways and around the fire hydrant where they had to shovel out the snow (yes, I know how cliche it is for a dog to tinkle on a fire hydrant).
Well, today, in a fit of blinding dare-devilness, my little baby climbed up on top of the snow, walked about five feet into the yard, tinkled, and then came running back at me like his tail was on fire. Just as he was about to get to the shovelled sidewalk, he fell through the snow and then skidded on the sidewalk, landing up against the snowbank on the other side of the sidewalk. Poor little baby...
